Divers find fisherman’s body

NEWPORT CENTER — Vermont State Police divers have recovered the body of an ice fisherman from Lake Memphremagog.

Police say 53-year-old James LeBlanc of Newport fell through the ice while using a tractor to move an ice shanty on Saturday evening.

Divers recovered his body on Monday.

Police said the tractor was submerged in about 25 feet of water.
