Catherine M. Nelson, a Chicago native, has managed and published more than 100 titles that included dailies, alternative and community weeklies from around the country, working in both major and micro cities including Boston, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, UT, and Missoula, MN. She has consulted for international publications in Australia, the Dominican Republic and Canada. Nelson is also a well-known seminar speaker and consultant and has developed specialized training and management programs for the newspaper industry. She and her family have relocated to the Rutland area from Madison, WI. Joining Mitchell Community Media was a homecoming of sorts for Nelson, who worked at the Times Argus in the early 1980s.

Robin Pollack is a veteran writer with 25 years of experience in communications, business, real estate, government, features, public relations and marketing. Her writing experience includes newspaper and magazine articles, press releases, technical writing, newsletters, advertorials, Web copy, and proofreading and editing.
Ms. Pollack's experience includes working at the Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers (Stuart, Fla.), the Orlando (Fla.) Sentinel, WEVU-TV (Bonita Springs, Fla.), and the News-Press (Fort Myers, Fla.).
